The Dillon Mall and all of Dillon with mountain bike & ski-shops, bowling alley, movie theater, bank and post office start across the street. The area is served by the Summit Stage Winter and Summer. The free coach serves all the local ski-mountains and recreation areas. The shuttle stops right in front of Marina Place taking you and your skis right to any of the lifts. In the summer it is even fitted to take you AND your mountain bikes anywhere you want!

The town of Silverthorne is approximately a mile down the highway. Silverthorne has many shopping and dining establishments including an outlet mall. Frisco is a few miles more around the lake. Frisco is a larger town with the locally famous Wal-Mart, shops and even dinner theaters.

Breckenridge is further around the lake across from Dillon. Breck shows its old west prospector town influence with its historical buildings from the Gold and Silver rush days. It is mixed with the excitement of saloons, craft shops, dining, ski-and-bike outfitters and plenty of T-shirt shops.

Back home at the condo, if you walk behind the complex you can stroll down to the marina in summer or winter for seasonal activities. In the summer the marina boasts over 200 sailing vessels docked in the new marina which is busy with activity. In winter the lake is quiet with traversing cross-country skiers and ice-skaters with an occasional whoop from a slider racing down the hill and out onto the lake.

There is plenty of fine dining to suit all tastes and budgets and plenty of shopping and entertainment. You can eat out, take in, or prepare your own meals and save some bucks. You may find it is more fun to prepare your meals at home, stoke the fire and look out over the lake.
